Mediha Rustempasic is the new [re:jazz] singer. Three songs on the new album "Kaleidoscope" featuring her amazing voice. Her dark and soulful coloured voice is a perfect match for [re:jazz]. [re:jazz] is back in 2008 with a brand new 2-disc release feat. their first live album recorded at the Motion Blue in Yokohama and a dvd documentary by Markus Bader, filmed during the Japan tour in April 2007. Beside fantastic live versions of their greatest interpretations from past releases you will hear two brand new recordings on this live album for the first time. 
Besides the original Big Band album cut of "People hold on" this 12" contains a gorgeous 60's soul-jazz influenced remix from classy French in vogue's 'Metropolitan Jazz Affair', featuring an elegant trumpet solo by Stephane Ronget which adds even more charme to the song. The "alternate 12" take" from "Gabrielle" is an analogue, percussive version with a 4 to the floor beat from the "Djembe" to make you move to the wonderful voice of Alice Russell.
